Is njyesual performance increased under the influence?

Today we are myth busting. Maina and Mwalimu Kingangi were talking about a certain myth in our society. Apparently when a man is under the influence, his njyes performance increases significantly. Mwalimu was of the opposite opinion. He added that it's the same reason why ladies complain all the time. Let's discuss...

My Human Opinion

'...performance increases significantly???'

Friends before we go any further, let's make a mental trip to ghost town Othaya, Nyeri. Where? The president's home-ground.
Imagine walking down the streets of Othaya, and finding them lacking the laughter and chatter of children. Imagine entering a primary school, and all you hear are crickets chirping.

Such places have been on the news lately for the wrong reasons. The schools are literally closing because there are no children. The men there get helplessly inebriated on illicit brews to perform anything!
Isaiah 5: 11  Woe to those who rise early in the morning to run after their drinks, who stay up late at night till they are inflamed with wine.
Woe unto their spouses too.

Do you still think alcohol increases performance?

Let's get medical.

Alcohol is a depressant and when consumed causes the body's systems to slow down. Alcohol also reduces psychological inhibitions. And thus provokes njyesual desire in the man's head. (take note of the head part) Besides, under the influence, all women become njyes-xy, a phenomenon known as beer-goggles.

Now, there is this hormone called testosterone that is rather crucial for libido and physical arousal. And you guessed it. Alcohol reduces testosterone production. It thus degrades the effects of testosterone. Therefore, the man, while he is turned on in the head, is off where it matters.

So it's highly possible that Mwalimu was right on this one. What do you think?

My Biblical Opinion

Alcohol has its benefits (which won't be discussed here). BUT being under the influence of alcohol is highly discouraged in the Bible. Why? You can easily be lead astray. Something other than you is controlling you. And that's not wise.
Proverbs 20:1  Wine is a mocker, strong drink is a brawler, And whoever is led astray by it is not wise.
Ephesians 5:17-18 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,
Alcohol reduces your judgment and makes you take your eyes of the ball.
Luke 20:34-35 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Alcohol intoxication is associated with increased risky njyesual behaviours.

And the devil loves it when you drink alcohol and use other such like drugs because he knows that with your inhibitions lowered and your judgment impaired, you will sin and get into things that you would have avoided had you not been intoxicated. Usually, the consequences of these sins are far-reaching. And let's not even mention things like driving under the influence. We know how much damage that has caused.
Isaiah 28:7-8
7 And these also stagger from wine
       and reel from beer:
Priests and prophets stagger from beer
       and are befuddled with wine;
       they reel from beer,
       they stagger when seeing visions,
       they stumble when rendering decisions.
8 All the tables are covered with vomit
and there is not a spot without filth.

And remember the story of Lot and his daughters?
Genesis 19:30-35  Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave. 31 One day the older daughter said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is no man around here to lie with us, as is the custom all over the earth. 32 Let's get our father to drink wine and then lie with him and preserve our family line through our father."
33 That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and lay with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.
34 The next day the older daughter said to the younger, "Last night I lay with my father. Let's get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and lie with him so we can preserve our family line through our father." 35 So they got their father to drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went and lay with him. Again he was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.
So what should we do?
Romans 13:13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
Keep it sober this Tuesday night. See you tomorrow
